You have to have a licence to remove and dispose of asbestos safely. We have certified in-house installers which can remove your asbestos garage roof, with the right equipment to remove and dispose of it to health and safety standards.
When deciding whether you need a complete garage roof replacement or a repair you should consider the extent of the damage and the age of the roof. Is the damage is bad, or the roof is old, then a replacement is probably the right route to go.

In general, you don't need planning permission for a new garages. There is a couple of conditions for this though, including the garages being less than 4 metres high, and taking up less than half the properties available land.
Not at all. The VSF installers are all certified in the safe removal and disposal of asbestos. They will take all necessary precautions to ensure that you, your community and our installers are shielded from the negative health benefits of asbestos.
Properties built before 1999, which is 90% of the UK housing stock, could have asbestos garage roofs. You can buy tests to check if it is an asbestos garage roof, however our installers will treat all roofs that are potentially asbestos as asbestos. The phase better safe than sorry comes to mind.
