Here’s a recent case study from one of customers who was suffering from a leaky garage roof. The team at VSF provided a new garage roof ensuring the leaky garage roof was no more.
A customer contacted us and informed us that the garage roof was leaking and the garage itself was beginning to look worn. We arranged a visit and offered our expert recommendation based on a combination of improving the visual appearance of their garage while preventing any leaks.
The garage itself us a duchess garage which a less common garage style that consists of a brick duchess front with a sloping roof behind the brick front. We replaced the brick front to ensure there will be no leaks once the new roof was fitted. Following this, we carried out the garage roof replacement and installed the UPVC fascia’s. Due to the garage being a duchess, we had to specifically design the guttering to ensure that rain would drain properly. This meant gutters on the front of the garage (atypical to a standard garage) with slight sloping to ensure that the rain drains properly. Some people are of the opinion that gutters don’t look right when they are not straight, but the main goal of the work is to ensure that the garage is long lasting and doesn’t leak.
